Troubleshooting method for maintenance of Riello burner

文章5-1.jpg

A Riello burner used on a boiler needs to be ignited several times before it can start working, and the cause of the failure has never been determined. Then the situation became more serious. No matter how I clicked it, it didn’t work. I pulled out the tip of the gun and carried out an ignition test. There were sparks at the top of the two high-voltage lines, atomized light oil was sprayed out from the nozzle, and the fan was working normally. Installed in place and then ignited, the fault remains the same.

For this type of burner maintenance, it is judged that the relative ratio of air and fuel has not been adjusted properly to eliminate the failure of related components. But based on experience, the main root cause is that the current air volume is large, and the spark of the transformer is not enough to ignite the fuel. In the case that you have used it in the past, there are the following possibilities:

1) Insufficient transformer power

2) The pressure of the burner oil pump is insufficient, the atomization is not good, and the spark cannot be ignited

3) Other reasons cause the relative back pressure to decrease to negative pressure

The solution when professional maintenance cannot be found for the burner:

Replace the transformer, oil pump, oil nozzle, clean the oil circuit

Replace the place that may have problems, and then adjust the damper and oil pressure.

Faults, causes and treatment methods that occur during the operation of the gas boiler burner.

1 Burner ignition rod does not ignite

(1) Reason:

1. There are carbon residues and oil stains in the gap between the ignition rods.

2. The ignition rod is broken, wet and leaking.

3. The distance between the ignition rods is wrong, too long or short.

4. The insulating skin of the ignition rod is damaged, and it is short-circuited to the ground.

5. The ignition cable and transformer are faulty: the cable is disconnected, and the connector is damaged, causing a short circuit during ignition;

The transformer is disconnected or has other faults.

(2) Handling measures:

Clear, replace, adjust distance, change line, change transformer.

2 There is a spark in the ignition rod but it cannot ignite

(1) Reason:

1. The ventilation gap of the cyclone disk is blocked by carbon deposits, and the ventilation is poor.

2. The oil nozzle is dirty, clogged or worn.

3. The damper setting angle is too small.

4. The distance between the tip of the ignition rod and the front edge of the oil nozzle is not appropriate (too protruding or retracted).

5. The solenoid valve of the first oil gun is blocked by debris (small fire oil gun).

6. The oil is too viscous to flow easily or the filter system is blocked or the oil valve is not opened, so that the oil pump does not absorb enough oil and the oil pressure is low.

7. The filter screen of the oil pump itself is blocked.

8. The oil contains more water (abnormal sound of boiling in the heater).

(2) Handling measures:

Clean up; clean first, if it doesn’t work, replace it with a new one; turn down the test; adjust the distance (3~4mm is better); disassemble and clean (clean the parts with diesel oil); check the pipeline, oil filter, and heat preservation equipment; remove the oil pump Peripheral screws, carefully remove the outer cover and take out the oil screen inside, use diesel oil

Soak; try new oil.

3. When the small fire is normal and turns to high fire, it goes out or flickers unstable

(1) Reason:

1. The air volume setting of the fire damper is too large.

2. The oil valve micro switch of the high fire (the outermost group of the damper) is not set properly (the air volume is set to be larger than the air volume of the damper of the high fire).

3. The viscosity of the oil is too high and it is not easy to atomize (heavy oil).

4. The distance between the cyclone disc and the oil nozzle is improper.

5. The oil nozzle of the large fire is worn or dirty.

6. The heating temperature of the reserve oil tank is too high, causing the steam to make the oil pumping difficult.

7. The oil in the oil-fired boiler contains water.

(2) Handling measures:

Gradually reduce the test; increase the heating temperature; adjust the distance (between 0 and 10 mm); clean or replace; set to about 50 ℃; change oil or drain water.

4. Increased burner noise

(1) Reason:

1. The stop valve in the oil circuit is closed or the oil intake is insufficient, and the oil filter is blocked.

2. The oil inlet temperature is low, the viscosity is too high or the oil inlet temperature of the pump is too high.

3. The oil pump is faulty.

4. The fan motor bearing is damaged.

5. The fan impeller is too dirty.

(2) Processing method:

Check whether the valve in the oil pipeline is open, whether the oil filter is working normally, clean the filter screen of the pump itself; heat or lower the oil temperature; replace the oil pump; replace the motor or bearing; clean the fan impeller.
