Riello UPS, the world leader in the uninterruptible power supply market, presents the iPlug UPS, a new generation of home UPS to protect household appliances from voltage dips, network surges or blackouts.
The iPlug has five plugs, all protected against power outages, three of which protect loads with strong pulse absorbing capabilities, such as laser printers.
It has an integrated LED button and the user can change the battery (battery replacement) which gives it great versatility. This appliance can be used by everyone, just like a household appliance, it can be placed on the floor or on top of furniture. Its compact size allows it to be placed in any space (99x185x313mm and 3.7kg or 4.1kg).
The operation of this UPS is similar to that of other UPSs of larger size and can work in offices with more equipment. With the power of the iPlug, thanks to the power supply system in case of power failure, this is achieved by the inversion of the pseudo-sine wave.
Monitor and schedule shutdown of OS 10, 8, 7, Hyper-V, 2019, 2016, 2012 and earlier, Mac OS X, Linux with PowerShield3 software. It's also plug and play capable, you just plug it in and it's ready to go, making it the perfect device for any home user.
The UPS can be plugged in without a network (cold start), and thanks to its auto-start system, the UPS will turn itself on when the network is restored or the batteries are recharging.
It has a USB port and 6 output sockets (Schuko or Italian or French or English sockets) + 2 IEC 320 C13.
Batteries are maintenance-free VRLA AGM lead-acid batteries, as described above, and are user replaceable. Charging time is between 6 and 8 hours.
Riello UPS has launched two models of UPS, IPG 600 and IPG 800, with rated power of 600 VA and 800 VA respectively.
With this range of iPlugs, the company hopes to bring a safe electrical supply to the home.
