Specifications and operation methods of fuel-fired steam boilers


The fuel oil of the fuel-fired steam boiler is sprayed into the inner tank through the burner for combustion. The smoke enters the left and right lower smoke pipes through the reburner chamber, goes forward to the front smoke box, folds into the upper smoke pipe, flows into the smoke box from front to back, and is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney. The boiler is equipped with openable front and rear smoke box doors, and there is an inspection hole at the rear for easy maintenance. 1. Specifications of fuel-fired steam boilers


The fuels of fuel-fired steam boilers include light diesel, heavy oil, and other environmentally friendly oils. Common specifications are 0.5t-20t, and pressures range from 1.0Mpa, 1.25Mpa, and 1.6Mpa. Different fuel oils have different compositions. When using a fuel-fired boiler, an oil quality analysis report is required. According to the report, a suitable burner is configured.


2. Operation method of oil-fired burner


Turn on the main power switch to power on;


Press the start switch, the burner motor starts, the ignition electrode generates electric sparks, and after about 7 seconds of pre-blowing time, the solenoid valve automatically opens the nozzle to spray oil mist, which is ignited by the electric spark to form a flame. At this time, the photoelectrode delays 15 seconds to stop ignition, and the burner enters normal operation;

If the ignition fails, the flame is not formed, or the photoelectric system fails to sense the flame brightness, after about 25 seconds of safety time, the alarm system will be activated, the burner will be cut off and the start-up program will be turned on. The fault and red lights will light up;


After the fault red light lights up, it will take 3 minutes before the recovery button can be pressed to restart the burner;


The position of the air door should match the nozzle size. It is generally adjusted at the factory, but it will differ with the different pressures in the furnace. The adjustment method is to adjust the air volume with the air adjustment tube after the burner sprays out the flame. Too little air volume will produce black smoke, and too much air volume will blow out the flame. Generally, it is appropriate to have a stable flame without black smoke;


3. Safety protection device for fuel steam boilers


The boiler is equipped with a fully automatic alarm controller


It has high and low water level sound and light alarms: that is, when the boiler water level is higher than the normal water level by more than 75mm and lower than the normal water level by less than 45mm, sound and light alarms will be issued.


It has low water level interlock protection function, that is, when the boiler water level is 35mm below the normal water level, the burner will automatically stop and be locked. Once there is a lack of water, the burner and water pump are interlocked, and can only be restarted after being opened and reset with a key.


It has automatic water level control function: when the boiler water level is 17mm below the normal water level, the water pump automatically starts, and when the water level rises to 42mm above the normal water level, the water pump automatically stops. The start and stop of the water pump can also be manually controlled on the instrument panel.


It has flameout protection function


If the fuel boiler continues to supply oil or gas after the furnace is extinguished, a furnace explosion accident may occur. The burner equipped with this fuel boiler is equipped with a flame detection device to detect the combustion situation in the furnace at any time (including ignition situation). When ignition fails or the combustion is extinguished in the middle, the oil and gas solenoid valves are generally closed within 5s (when igniting) or within 10s (when running), and an audible and visual alarm signal is issued. At this time, the blower continues to run to purge the residual combustible gas in the furnace. After 20∽30s of purge, the blower and various auxiliary power supplies are automatically cut off, and the boiler stops running.
