Precautions for using flame detectors


Flame detector is an intelligent fire detection device with flame detection function, which is suitable for large spaces and other special spaces. It uses two optical infrared sensors with different wavelengths to identify flame conditions: one sensor is used for flame detection, and the other sensor is used for background infrared radiation detection.


Its design concept is to minimize the false alarm rate and improve the detection sensitivity. The alarm sensitivity can be flexibly set on-site to meet the needs of different places. The dual-band fire detector adopts non-contact detection and can be easily connected to the fire alarm system of any manufacturer through the optional CAN bus or passive switch point. So, what are the precautions for the use of flame detector devices?


This flame detector is a fire detector that is highly sensitive to infrared radiation when hydrocarbons and carbon-containing compounds burn. It is suitable for smokeless liquid and gas fires, open flames that produce smoke, and places where deflagration occurs. For example: oil places such as hydraulic stations and lubricating oil depots, chemical places such as flammable liquid storage tank areas, large warehouses, hangars, garages, underground tunnels, subway tracks, power plants, substations and other underground spaces and large spaces. The detector can effectively suppress interference such as sunlight, lightning, electric welding, artificial light source, environment (people, etc.), thermal radiation, electromagnetic interference, mechanical vibration, etc.
