Servo motors are widely used in the automation industry. Here we introduce the characteristics and functions of four types of servo motor control methods.
1. Feedback compensation open-loop control
The accuracy of the open-loop system is low. This is because the step error, start-stop error and mechanical system error of the servo motor will directly affect its positioning accuracy. Jinzihao recommends that you should use the compensation type for improvement. This system has the advantages of both open loop and closed loop, that is, it has the stability of open loop and the accuracy of closed loop. The system will not oscillate due to the resonant frequency, creeping, loss of motion of the machine tool.
2. Closed-loop control
Since the accuracy of open-loop control cannot meet the requirements of machine tools well, in order to improve the control accuracy of Henan servo motors, the applicable method is to adopt closed-loop control. That is, there is not only a predecessor control channel, but also a feedback channel for detecting output. The deviation signal is obtained by comparing the command signal with the feedback signal, forming a closed-loop control system controlled by deviation.
3. Semi-closed-loop control
By measuring the angular displacement of the transmission shaft or the lead screw, the equivalent feedback signal of the position output can be indirectly obtained. Since the error caused by this part of the transmission cannot be automatically compensated by the closed-loop system, the closed-loop system composed of equivalent feedback signals is called a semi-closed-loop servo drive, and this servo motor control method can also be called a semi-closed-loop control method.
4. Feedback compensation type semi-closed-loop control
The control compensation principle of the servo motor is similar to that of the open-loop compensation system. The two independent measurement systems composed of the rotary transformer and the induction synchronizer both work in amplitude detection mode. The disadvantage of this servo motor system is that it is costly and requires two detection systems. The advantage is that it is easier to adjust than the full closed-loop system and has good stability. It is suitable for the feed drive of high-precision large CNC machine tools.
