If the burner fails to ignite, the controller automatically shuts down for protection.
The fault light (red) lights up.
Step 1: Turn off the power and check the external status of the burner system.
1. Check whether the temperature setting of the burner heating oil pool is correct.
2. Check the liquid level in the heating oil pool. (The liquid level cannot be higher than the top dead center)
3. Check the oil spill tank. (Keep it clean and free of oil)
4. Check the air source pressure. Check the oil-water separator and drain the water.
5. Check the photoreceptor. (keep clean)
6. Check the fuel tank. Check the filter.
7. Remove the burner and check the gap between the flame stabilizing plate and the ignition electrode.
Step 2: Press the controller button to reset. (power off state)
Step 3: Connect the power supply, start the burner, and observe the operation status of the equipment. Detect faults and eliminate them promptly.
Fault phenomenon Troubleshooting Check whether the heating oil pool is heating up ☆ If it is not heating up:
1. Check the power supply and troubleshoot
2. The liquid level in the heating oil pool is too high. Drain part of the oil to lower the liquid level. After the heating oil pool reaches the set temperature, check the operating status of the fan, electrode, and gas line solenoid valve ☆
The fan keeps stopping after starting, the burner does not ignite, and the controller fault indicator light does not light up. The controller is faulty. Replace the controller. ☆ The fan and ignition electrode work normally, the solenoid valve does not move, and the burner does not ignite.
1. There is oil in the oil tank. Clean it out.
2. Contact switch failure. Replace the contact switch ☆
After the fan is started, the solenoid valve moves, but the burner does not ignite.
1. The electrode gap is too large or the electrodes are grounded. Adjust the electrode gap.
2. The oil line is blocked. Clean the oil pipe and fuel injection head.
3. No compressed air, check the air source ☆
After the burner is ignited, the flame is unstable, heats up slowly, and flames out midway.
1. The inner wall of the oil suction pipe is scaled. Remove the oil pipe and clean it.
2. There is too much water in the oil. Drain the water from the fuel tank and check whether the oil float is working.
3. The O-ring of the oil nozzle is damaged. Replace the O-ring.
4. The photoreceptor is damaged or dirty, replace and clean. Over-temperature protection
The burner suddenly stopped, the fault light did not light up, and there was no response when it was started again.
Check the liquid level in the heating oil pool. If the liquid level is too low, add fuel to raise it to the liquid level mark. Press the reset button of the over-temperature protector to reset and then restart the burner.
There is smoke in the exhaust
1. The flame stabilizing plate is coked. Remove the burner and clean the flame stabilizing plate.
2. The damper opening is incorrect. Adjust the damper.
Fuel supply failure
1. Oil pump or motor failure should be eliminated or replaced in time.
2. Check the filter tank and filter screen and remove the scale on the surface of the filter screen.
