1. The oil pump does not work
In order to troubleshoot, the cause of the fault must be checked. For this reason, possible reasons such as whether there is oil in the fuel tank, whether the valve is closed and blocked, whether there is air in the system, whether the oil filter and fuel injector are clean, whether the oil pressure and vacuum degree are normal, etc. should be ruled out. If still can not solve the problem. Check whether the coupling between the motor and the oil pump is in good condition. If the oil pump still does not work, the oil pump should be replaced.
2. The oil pump does not absorb oil
The reliable operation of the whole system has a lot to do with the oil absorption capacity of the oil pump and the relative position of the oil tank and the oil pump. When the oil pump cannot absorb oil, first install the vacuum gauge on the correct port of the oil pump. If the indication value of the vacuum gauge is still 0 after the system is running, you need to check:
1. Whether only the motor rotates, but the oil pump shaft does not rotate. This is most likely a failed or loose coupling.
2. If the oil pump is indeed running, check whether the rotation direction and speed of the oil pump are correct.
When checking, the vacuum gauge should be connected to the oil pump. If it is determined that there is no vacuum, a general inspection can be made, that is, a small bucket of fuel is placed next to the oil pump, the suction end of the oil pump is inserted into the oil barrel, and the oil pump is started to see if the oil pump can suck. , and pay attention to whether the oil filter of the oil pump has been installed in time. After inspection, it still cannot absorb oil, so the oil pump can only be replaced.
3. The oil pressure of the oil pump cannot be adjusted
If the oil pressure of the oil pump cannot be adjusted or the indication of the oil pressure gauge is incorrect, the reasons may be:
1. The coupling between the oil pump and the motor fails.
2. The oil pressure gauge fails.
3. The oil pressure gauge is not installed correctly.
4. The oil pressure regulating valve fails or is blocked. In this case, the oil pressure gauge can only indicate one pressure.
5. There is air in the oil, which will make the indication of the oil pressure gauge unstable.
6. Improper selection of oil pump. If the flow rate of the selected oil pump is smaller than that of the fuel injector, the pressure measured by the oil pressure gauge will be very low.
7. The gears are worn, and the oil pump cannot generate enough pressure.
8. The fuel is too thin. Viscosity decreases and nozzle flow rate decreases.
9. The oil pump may not be suitable for kerosene.
For the above fault reasons, and then take the corresponding processing method.
4. Unstable oil pressure
Unstable oil pressure will lead to changes in flow rate and spray mode, resulting in poor combustion effect.
Possible reasons for oil pressure instability are:
1. There is air in the pipeline or the vacuum degree of the oil pump is too high.
2. The pressure regulating valve of the oil pump is too dirty.
3. The spring on the pressure regulating valve fails.
4. The coupling is not good, resulting in a change in speed.
5. The oil pump has no output
If the oil pump has no output, check and do the following:
Open the valve on the oil suction line; exhaust the oil pump; use the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge to check the oil pressure and vacuum; check the coupling; check the rotation direction of the oil pump; check the installation method of the oil pump (single pipe or double pipe), etc.
After doing the above checks, if there is still no oil coming out of the nozzle, check at this time: whether the position of the oil suction pipe and the oil return pipe is correct; whether the solenoid valve is normal; whether the fuel injection nozzle is blocked; Whether the pipeline is leaking or crushed, etc.
Pay special attention: when performing the above steps, the fuel oil may flow out and accumulate in the combustion chamber of the boiler. When the ignition is re-ignited, the oil will vaporize, which will cause a bang. After several starts and unsuccessful ignition, the fuel in the boiler should be drained.
6. Oil pump overheating
If the temperature of the oil pump is very high, it means that the problem is serious. The reasons may be: the coupling is not installed properly. If its length is large, it may exert force on the pump shaft. This force is transferred to the oil pump, overloading the oil pump and generating heat. This is mainly caused by the replacement of couplings of different lengths.
In a single-pipe system (no oil return pipe), a large-sized oil pump can also overheat the oil pump when feeding oil from a small-flow nozzle. For example: the flow rate of the used oil pump is 100L/h, but the flow rate of the nozzle is only 20L/h. In the single-pipe system, only 20L/h of new oil is supplied from the oil tank, while the other 80L/h of oil is in the system. circulation, which will cause the temperature of the oil pump to rise. (The situation is reversed in a dual-pipe system, when the high-flow oil pump supplies oil to the small-flow nozzle, it will cool the pump).
If the oil pump is too dirty, it will also increase the internal friction and increase the temperature of the oil pump.
According to the problem detected, then take the corresponding processing method.
Seven, oil pump noise
Soon after starting, the oil pump makes noise, and its volume gradually increases. It is likely that the valve on the oil suction line is still closed, not opened, so that the vacuum degree increases, the oil and gas are separated, air enters the oil pump, and the oil pump emits a "protest sound". Under normal circumstances, when the vacuum degree reaches -0.5×105Pa, the oil pump will roar, and the valve should be opened immediately.
When the oil filter on the oil suction pipe, the shut-off valve is blocked or the oil suction pipe is crushed, the oil pump will also make noise. Other reasons include: the diameter of the oil suction pipe does not match, the oil suction height difference is too large or the pipe is blocked by dirt, etc.
When the oil suction pipe leaks, the oil pump will also make noise. At this time, install a pressure gauge to check the oil pressure. At this time, the pointer of the pressure gauge will jump randomly. That is, when the vacuum degree is too low, it indicates that there is an air leak.
After the cause of the fault is determined, the corresponding treatment method can be taken.
