Global uninterruptible power supply manufacturer Riello UPS is expanding its reach with a new subsidiary covering the Republic of Ireland.
Riello UPS Ireland is the Italy-based company's 17th dedicated location globally and is a strategically important addition to increase the brand's presence in the burgeoning Irish data center market, including Amazon Global tech giants including Google, Google and Facebook have major facilities in the market.
The new subsidiary will be led by Leo Craig, who will also serve as Managing Director of Riello UPS UK. A member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and the Institute of Sales Management (FISM), Leo is also a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP) and a Certified Data Center Energy Professional (DCDEP) with over 30 years of experience in critical power protection industry experience.
The subsidiary is expected to be fully operational by the new year, with a dedicated team and new premises in Dublin's IT district.
