1. The pressure reducing valve cannot be screwed into the angle valve
(1) Cause
The hand wheel of the pressure reducing valve is slippery; the inlet of the pressure reducing valve is not aligned with the angle valve interface; the angle valve interface is damaged.
(2) Processing method
Repair or replace the relief valve handwheel, or replace the entire relief valve. When the angle valve interface is damaged, the angle valve or the entire liquefied petroleum gas cylinder must be replaced, but the user cannot replace or repair it by himself, and should send the cylinder (together with the angle valve) to a professional maintenance department. If the two interfaces are not aligned, just align the inlet of the pressure reducing valve with the interface of the angle valve, and slowly rotate to the left (counterclockwise), and it can be screwed on smoothly.
2. Leakage of pressure reducing valve
(1) Cause
The screws on the upper and lower covers of the valve body are not tightened; the rubber film in the valve body is damaged; the sealing ring of the air inlet is aged and damaged.
(2) Processing method
Tighten the upper and lower cover screws; replace the rubber film; the rubber sealing ring at the connection between the pressure reducing valve and the steel cylinder plays the role of sealing the gas supply. A large amount of gas escaped, causing a serious accident. Therefore, it is required that every time the steel cylinder is replaced and the pressure reducing valve is installed, special attention should be paid to check whether the rubber sealing ring is intact, whether there is aging or wear, especially when installing, it is necessary to check whether the sealing ring is missing. If it is aged or worn, it should be replaced in time, but it must not be replaced with a film, and a special sealing ring must be used.
3. The breathing hole is blocked and the pressure cannot be adjusted
(1) Generate original difficulties
Failure to pay attention to daily maintenance and cleaning, let debris contaminate the pressure reducing valve, making the small round hole with a diameter of about 1mm in the upper casing blocked. This small round hole is the breathing hole. The breathing hole communicates with the upper chamber of the rubber membrane in the pressure reducing valve. When the diaphragm moves up and down, the air continuously enters and exits from the breathing hole to realize pressure regulation. Therefore, if the breathing hole is blocked, the air above the diaphragm will not be able to enter and exit normally, causing the pressure regulation of liquefied petroleum gas to fail, causing the high-pressure liquefied petroleum gas to directly supply air, causing the flame of the burning appliance to suddenly increase or go out due to fire, resulting in a fire or poisoning accidents.
(2) Processing method
Check and clean frequently to keep the breathing holes unobstructed. When it is found that liquefied petroleum gas leaks from the breathing hole, it indicates that the rubber film is damaged. The angle valve should be closed immediately, the pressure reducing valve should be removed, and the diaphragm should be replaced or a new pressure reducing valve should be replaced.
4. Abnormal flow or pressure
(1) The flow rate decreases
The main reason is that it has been used for a long time, causing the rubber sealing ring to expand and deform. If deformed, the apron should be replaced.
(2) The inlet pressure is insufficient.
Usually, this is caused by a clogged filter. The filter should be cleaned and kept unblocked
